is the first real try at visualizing the thumbnail.
You can see the outline of another dog in front of the bear. I thought it might be more interesting to have another dog watching the drama unfold.

couple of years after the sketch at left, I tried again. I decided to
have the "other" dog causing the calamity. It's tough to see,
but a puppy is hanging onto the bear's arm.
In a rare moment, I putzed around with a bit of color...it got dark
in a hurry. Sketchbook paper isn't very strong, so it doesn't stand up
to much putzing. I slid the sunglasses up so you could see an outline
in white on the face.
