BACK     Shortly after doing the sketch, I did this (using the black pencil of my colored pencil set) for NOEL, my personal Christmas card for 1999. The following year, I did this as a demo at a show (using just colored pencils on pastel paper). I already had a detailed drawing, so it was no big deal to color it in...I mean, I had to sit there anyway so I may as well do what I always do when I'm sitting around--color something!...actually my second preference, but sleeping wasn't an option.
